John Grayson
John has been involved in coaching since 2010 at both the collegiate and high school level. Coaching in some of Illinois' best programs, he has cultivated relationships with college recruiters going back over a decade. Coaching and development of numerous all conference, all area, all state and even all American high school football players give John an eye for talent. These players have gone on to star at the NAIA, D3, D2, FCS and FBS level. John is currently the defense coordinator at 6x state championship winner Montini Catholic. He has coached previously at Nazareth Academy, Bolingbrook High School, Glenbard South and Bradford High School (WI). John also coached a year at Carthage College (D3) before beginning his path on the High School Level. A 3x State champion, he will bring a winners mentality to getting you, your son or daughter recruited.
Jason Nichols
With 24 years of coaching experience at both high school and college levels, he boasts a career record of 692-103. He led his teams to the NJCAA national tournament four times (2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024), achieving a 2nd place finish in 2023. At the high school level, his teams secured state championships in 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2014, with a 2nd place finish in 2018 and 3rd place finishes in 2009, 2013, 2015, 2017, and 2020. He enjoyed 15 consecutive seasons with 30 or more wins and claimed a record 14 straight IHSA sectional championships. Inducted into the IHSA Hall of Fame in 2019, he has also coached 43 players who went on to compete in Division 1 basketball.
Steve Dowjotas
Steve has been coaching for nearly 20 years at the high school, club, and collegiate levels, mentoring players who have advanced to all tiers of collegiate volleyball, including D1, D2, NAIA, D3, and JuCo. A two-time National Champion at Dominican University and the National Libero of the Year in 2006, Steve now serves as the Director of a Chicagoland volleyball club and as Head Coach at Morton College. His objective is to elevate your son or daughter to the next level, using his expertise to position them in the division where they truly belong.
Jon Rush
Jon brings several connections and resources between his coaching and training background.
With 16+ years of experience coaching at both the high school and collegiate level, he has
helped several players go on to compete collegiately. During that time, he has worked with some of the top boys and men’s basketball players in the country. The Amateur Athletic Union is where success began, he led teams to compete in multiple AAU national championships. 2013 National Runner Up, National Runner Up 2014. As a high school coach, he has helped develop Downers Grove North as one of the top basketball programs in the state of Illinois. Since joining staff, DGN has had several conference, regional, and sectional championships. Most recently finishing as the state runner up in 2023. Jon’s connection run to a national level as he serves a skills trainer for the Chris Paul Rising Stars Camp, as well as the CP3 National Middle School Camps. This staff is selected on an invite only basis to help develop some of the best prospects in the country. Currently, he serves as the Head Men’s Basketball Coach at Morton College. As a college coach, I can give your son my vantage point on recruitment.
